DESCRIPTION
GatorSktch Architects was commissioned by Orange County Schools to design the buildings and Campus for Dr. Philips High School in the Dr. Philips area. Part of this assignment was the design of a 1000 seat Proscenium type theatre with entrance corridors from the sides creating a less disruptive entrance path during performances. The theatre includes sloped floor fixed row seating, and a 4’ raised stage to maintain lines of site. A Full dmx controlled theatrical / house lighting and dimming system was controlled in a raised control booth that also houses sound and visual systems as well.
